Frequently asked questions:

1. How many people from my company can attend? To ensure we have a balanced representation of attendees from a range of companies we will not be able to accept more than 2 attendees from the same company.
2. Can I forward the invite to my colleague? We would like to ask you not to extend the invite further. If you cannot make it to the event and would like to invite your colleague instead please send us an email with their details and we will send them an invitation directly.
3. How should I plan my travel? The event starts at 11:00 on the 17th of April, so we recommend either arriving early in the morning if transportation schedules allow, or arriving the night before. The event ends at 16:00 on the 18th of April, which should allow you enough time to travel home that same evening.
4. How far is the venue from the airport and the central station? The Berlin Brandenburg Airport is about an hour away from the Zalando premises by car/taxi (depending on traffic), or 1h30min by public transport. The Berlin central station is about 40min away by car/taxi (depending on traffic) or about 30min by public transport.
5. Is the event going to be streamed or recorded? As we follow Chatham House rules for all user group meetings, the event will not be streamed or recorded.
6. I also received an invitation for GitHub Galaxy Berlin on the 16th of April (the day before the User Group). Should I register for it as well? The GitHub User Group Europe event will provide a lot of the same content that will be presented at the GitHub Galaxy event. The agenda of the User Group will be much more tailored to your interests as an experienced GitHub user and a lot more technical. You are very welcome to attend both events, however, you will not miss any important content if you decide to only attend the GitHub User Group event.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Berlin!
