Conversation over wine: The top emerging security trends for open source
June 3, 2021
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm AEST
Open source is the connective tissue for much of the information economy. The artifacts of open source code serve as critical infrastructure for much of the global economy, making the security of open source mission-critical to the world.
GitHub recently published its annual report, “The 2020 State of the Octoverse”. The analysis pulls together a unique and cohesive picture of open source security and the lifecycle of a vulnerability, identifying key opportunities where we, as a community, can improve the security of open source.
Join our host Kim Gardiner, GitHub Senior Corporate Manager and speaker Pierluigi Cau, GitHub Director of Solutions Engineering APAC, in this invite-only, executive virtual event. Pierluigi will share the report’s findings and areas where software teams can focus resources to improve. There will be time for questions and to discuss shared challenges.
You will learn
- Lifecycle of open source vulnerabilities and how best practices can help remediate vulnerabilities faster
- How to be more secure with automation
- Recommended actions to protect against vulnerabilities
Seats are limited, so do register soon.
